Conference Scope

To expand the membership, secure the legitimacy and advance the mission of the Caribbean Rastafari Organisation.

 

Our Objectives

1. To host the Annual General Meeting of the CRO
2. To formalize the mechanisms for governance and representation of the CRO
3. To strengthen economic trade linkages among Rastafari producers of goods and services across the Caribbean and Africa
4. To register artistes and artisans for compiling an electronic database of Rastafari enterprises in all fields of endeavour
5. To promote healthy living habits and consumption choices in the Caribbean nation through literature, consultations, counseling, blood pressure and diabetes checks, reflexology and massage therapy, cancer prevention and HIV/AIDS awareness workshop

Today, we name as our first great task the final liberating of those Africans still dominated by foreign exploitation and control. With the goal in sight and unqualified triumph within our grasp, let us not now falter or lag or relax. We must make one final supreme effort now, when the struggle grows weary, when so much has been lost, that the thrilling sense of achievement has brought us near satiation. Our liberty is meaningless unless all Africans are free."
